I tried it with greenparticle, lasers, and a few other things. The biggest problems I've run into is shot spacing and keeping the continuous beam effect while turning. It'd be nice if there was a way to make a laser or particle beam stretch from the point of origin until it hit something instead of ...

Not sure about the rest of this but i was thinking, replace device damage with disruption where it gets offlined or acts unreliably for a period of time?

This would help against particularly deadly enemies, or leave the player in deep if they're on the receiving end.

I like the bomber, it looks almost like a Ancient Warship. :) Although, it could use a bit more colour and texture, but thats just my opinion. :) Good job either way! I plan to dirty them up a little when I can. ATM i'm torn between using Mental Ray or Vray. I can understand Mental Ray's materials ...

They're starting ships atm, I'll admit they're powerful but they'll get weak fast past Saint k's. I plan to make them buyable when that gets fleshed out more. I've been thinking about having them start a special storyline when you do, if i can figure out how to script. And Caliburn is my god version...

Just the cruiser, as luck would have it my 3ds crashed on the 13th taking my material library with it. The models survived, so i only have the paint job to redo. XD

Still tweaking the lighting.
