Bravo George!

I can't wait to sit down and play the game until my eyes start to bleed.

Freighter armours of note, working backwards. Transuranic is tough stuff. I recommend everyone gives it a try at least once. Needs +regen though, so might need planning to make work right. Not particularly resistant to anything, but you can watch your armour meter tick down while you twiddle your th...

There is a work-around; although you won't be able to do Huari missions for that base anymore, you can still perform them for other Huari bases. There's usually a few of them in the game.

I've never used Transuranic armor, so clue me in.....does a +REGEN completely counter the decay, or does it just slow it down? Hey! Its another Kiwi! In answer to your question, I personally use regen nanos, and a patcher arm. My shield is an ion-reflecting trenton (but I've cast my greedy eye on a...

In my current game, I just reached Sanctuary using no shields at all.

Of course, I was lucky enough to find 4 Worldship Armour plates in an armoury just after Eridani. I would still be using them, but I found four plates of Transuranic (regen added)

Confusion about Unlicensed Cancer Dust

UCD is stored by the kilo in your hold, but is bought by the gram at Commonweath stations and is listed as grams in your hold. Drug dealers and their clients are picky about these sorts of details (wait... you just took a kilo of my dust, but only paid me for a gram. Now I kill your family ) so it p...

Second vintage generator

I just recieved a Mk V for my services to Korolovs Massage and Escort Service. Following this, I failed a mission (oops), but went back for more missions. First successful mission, a ROM (again), and second, a Mk V. Not sure if its necessarily a bug, or even terribly exploitable, but seems a little ...

Dvalin Ion9 weapon

I like it, I like it a lot.

Unfortunately by the time I get it, I usually have better weaponry available.

May I suggest the weapon damage is cranked up a little?

On the rare occasion I play as a freighter, I regard the Behemoths as prey... The armour is a nice fit (and if my memory serves me, its non-military)

I have three of these wobbley fools following me around. They don't impact the game as they are too slow. I only ever even see them when I gate into a system.

The Mark I, if I'm reading the xml correctly, will usually single shot a Corsair and single shot a Viking a bit more than half the time, so it'd be a really good gun to practice aiming with. You get the same sort of intermittant payoff that makes gambling so addictive, except that instead jackpots ...
