Thats a toughie.
I find plenty of enjoyment in both the early and late games.
I'd have to say the Early game wins a bit though because theres the excitement of finding an awesome piece of loot or something like that while in the late game you're more or less set.

I had just witnessed the most fearsome battle in all the Transc games I've played to date! I jumped into a system and just as I was leaving the gate, a Ranx Dreadnought and escorts jumped into the system. Started attacking me immediately but I managed to evade them... ended up in a whopping...

Has anyone (who uses the freighter) tried the heavy ithalium armor yet? It's killer! At 400 HP and level X, it's resistant to thermo and plasma--vulnerable to Ion... No biggie, just hit `em with Ion barrels and you got a wicked set of armor that can withstand a serious pounding before it will colla...

One of my favorite "escape" devices is the jump drive. Very handy for many useages...like mil missions. Saves temp wingmen. :P I like the Scrambles as well, but will normally save most of them for the big guy at the end. Do you mean the Transwarp drive deal? I never bought one, how does it work exa...

I never liked the Jotun Deflector very well, even set to level 4. It's resistences seem weak for an alien shield. I know it's a low-level alien shield, but still...I'd rather save my rins for an Iocyrm Veil and buy diamond crystals at every Corporate Trading Post in the galaxy. Not breaking through...
