This is... more insane than usual, but I'll point out a few things: - This isn't really the place to complain about changes to the API. You should probably make a new thread in Shipyards, or a Ministry ticket if they actually break existing functionality. - Deprecated functions generally still work...

scrShowBuyScreen is defined in HSCompatibility.xml. You shouldn't need to include that code in your mod as long as you declare unidHumanSpaceLibrary. the 'new' Positron effect is , for lack of a nice word : savagely unkempt ( mess ) . aww, I find the new plasma effects extremely cool ! I really like them compared to the old style with the lines. However I'm not a big fan of kinetic. I think they should be smaller. All the old effects are still supported by the engine (except for some very old pre-1.0 things that don't work properly any more). If you go to one of the old source downloads for 1.1, 1.2 or 1.3 you should be able to just copy the effect code, paste it into a copy of the new-version weapons (to ge...

with the event of the Outlaw Miners I have lost many Mining Colonies from repeated attacks by the colony on the miners : it's regen is only "1" and so long as it has a weapon, the weapon is a liability. Now, naturally, the first response is to say "pull the weapon" : but I don't think that is needed...
