I am sure it has been done before : but a custom ship: some I tried anyway, return Nil when told to replicate it. This is... more insane than usual, but I'll point out a few things: - This isn't really the place to complain about changes to the API. You should probably make a new thread in Shipyards, or a Ministry ticket if they actually break existing functionality. - Deprecated functions generally still work...

aww, I find the new plasma effects extremely cool ! I really like them compared to the old style with the lines. However I'm not a big fan of kinetic. I think they should be smaller.
