What about a button below "Send Msg" in the Capital -> Empire tab titled "Declare War"? This will set the empire's state and color to hostile correspondingly, and possibly also notify the target player than Empire X has declared war on them. Eventually George will move the Transcendence wiki to some proprietary system (it's dokuwiki right now) within Ministry. Like a glacier, it's coming, but slowly.

Updated to reflect that I have migrated a lot of the info to the Kronosaur wiki. When Project Glacier is completed, I will migrate it to Ministry.

This is an interesting approach. Because combat is a complex interaction, we have not yet discovered a good rule of thumb for predicting the outcome of an engagement. In particular, since Era 3 it is clear that defenses are significantly stronger than their per-unit costs. They still "feel" underpow...

The biggest issues that I have with Anacreon right now are: The game can feel completely futile. Empires rise, fall and vanish completely without leaving a trace. I had no idea that splitting production reduces total work units output. Why is this the case, and how significant is the penalty? I have autofacs building 50% Eldritch and 50% Undines, so it would be better to dedicate all worlds to producing 100% of a single unit as opposed to splitting their lab...

Thanks for bringing this back! I have added links to this to my Era 3 reference. I think it is good for this to get its own thread so that you can maintain and update it as you see fit, rather than for me to include it as a section of the reference guide like I did during Era 2.

Does it make sense to increase capital ramjet speed too? Their high speed previously distinguished them from capital starships. Maybe they should be gunship speed, eliminate the Manta's parts requirement, and remove the underwhelming nebular gunships entirely? Nebulas are smaller theatres than clear...
