Well, it's available if you get the files from git and build the engine yourself. :)

If anyone is using git for the data files but can't build the engine, let me know and I can build a version that works with the git data files but doesn't have the changes I'm working on.

Agreed on pretty much everything.

If anything, I think you're overly optimistic about passthrough. I don't believe it's possible for the Katana to hit a Sandstorm more than once unless it's moving away from the shooter and is hit from the side.

Devices and armor are replaceable. To compensate for having a lower speed than most playable ships, it would need something they can't get, like swivel and/or secondary weapon mounts.

My preference is to have a set size of screen description for any dockscreen as it stops the actions moving up and down. This makes it easier to use the mouse. But a rewite would be the way to go.
