Yeah, I just switched last night because I'm going to start soaking up some of the empty space down south, but I only had "low" risk of succession with 110 planets and 4 caps on the jumpship doctrine.

Limit for non- L&O doctrines is two capitals (imperial capital + one sector capital) and 100 worlds , if you exceed both secession is inevitable . You can have more than 2 capitals if you have less than 100 worlds. OR You can have >100 worlds as long as you never have more two capitals. ...but you ...

I agree!

The challenge for me has been finding people interested in this kind of micromanaging. I got two people to join, one of them never really got into it and the other conquered almost half the alpha server before quitting out of boredom (not enough people in alpha, not enough space in beta).

None of the suggestions have worked excepting the second parts world (which I have yet to try but had suspected would fix it). Ah, so someone else found out about the shield, eh? I've known it was possible for a while but never had good cause to use it since the old Barricades Pact's last Great War....

Oh, is that what all those halfway-nonexistant worlds are? Do you guys know what happened to cause that result instead of the empire just continuing without a capital or the previous kind of no-capital bug?

The Rathari First World lies just north of the galactic core, but the area is terrible resource-wise so I'm going to take any pocket I can with a decent supply of chronimium. It seems I've got quite a bit of catching up to do!
