I am sure that I can't be the only Mod deficient person in love with playing Transcendence and I am sure that those others would also like to see a new ship or two added onto the list of ships that you get with the game. It isn't that I don't like my Wolven ship, just might be nice to try something...

Easy to kill? From what I remember about the Iocrym the last and only time I made it to the Galactic Core was that they were slow and that is the only reason I survived. I spent the entirety of the game running away and in the end unable to actually stay long enough in a single location to finish! ...

Yeah. Base game Iocrym are nowhere near balanced - they're very slow and have no weaponry with range beyond the immediate front of their ships. You can basically rush to Heretic and kill a few of them for enough credits/rin for anything in the game.

A one time 'match speed' ability would be sufficient, IMO. The vast majority of the time, that's all that's really needed.

Even if your code is the cause of a crash, that's still an issue with the game's engine. It should catch and handle exceptions it encounters, and the developer has modified it many times in response to such issues, in order to improve its robustness. When dealing with frigates, you have it right. Just buy an initial stock of Stilettos and use them, and the frigates will go down long before they become a threat to the freighter. If they're not dying fast enough to satisfy you, either use the guaranteed Smartcannon or an omnidirectional turbolaser...
