I found it now, thanks. The stargate was in the rather sparse asteroid belt, alone rather than next to asteroids. As it wasn't near a planet or in a marked orbit on the map, I missed it. Since my galaxy map wasn't showing more systems, I didn't realise there was a way forward.

Are you talking about the Refuel option there or the Armoury one, as I recall the Refuel option being 0 credits on previous version once you reach an appropriate rank.

Yeah, this made an escort mission horrendous because the only range at which I could see the Sandstorm Gunships was when they were pretty much on top of the freighters I was guarding. It breaks anything where you need to protect a ship and it decides to fly through a nebula.

I found one of these, then swiftly remembered why I never used to use them. They do more damage than an ICX, but's that's not really the point of an anti-missile gun. The projectile type is slower and smaller, and it's generally worse than the ICX as it has the same rate of fire and it misses a lot....

In v1.5, it seems the ship no longer prefers to dock at your target, but instead picks the nearest valid docking object. I'm noticing a general lack of fuel. There seem to be far fewer of the ship types that have fuel, and the First Hunters and Resurrectors don't appear to ever drop fuel rods.
