Is this the mod that let you make guns that shoot rapidfire five-way thermo spreads or Shatter rings? If so, it's pretty cool, but balanced it ain't! :D
Pretty much the only limitation on Labs weapons is how many MW you can feed them.

Re: The Backroads — an alternate route

Is there any documentation on which weapons will work for linked-fire and which won't? In fact, a ROM in starting inventory giving an 'owners manual' for your ship might be a nice addition.

Re: Combining Steam and Multiverse

I've opted into NEXT on steam so that's running 1.83. Thanks, I'll give it a go.

Re: The Backroads — an alternate route

Some early comments: * Error text about a cursor pops-up every time a Legion patrol gets spawned * Re Legion, I don't really understand the difference between a low-hp-shield-that-takes-reduced-damage and a normal high-hp-shield. It takes a long time to burn through a legion shield, exactly as if it...

Combining Steam and Multiverse

I have Transcendence on Steam with Corporate Command (and Eternity Port). However some things are only available via the Multiverse, so I have a different installation for that. How do I go about combining the two? Is it as simple as copying the .tdb files from one directory to the other?

Re: The Backroads — an alternate route

Are you still recruiting people into the beta? I'd like to try it.

Re: Thoughts on ships and armor mass

Re ship types, I'd like to see an exploration-class superheavy. Only a medium sized cargo hold and doesn't have a turret like the Minotaur, but has a *lot* of device slots.

Re: 1.8 Beta 3 is Ready!

This might be a dumb question, but is the alpha for VOTG an open one? If so, where can I actually download it?

Re: Minotaur class

Even in its current configuration, there are a number of players who’ve said that getting a Minotaur is one of their highest priorities since it lets them more or less coast from midgame until nearly endgame with minimal significant threat. Buying a new ship is the fastest and cheapest way to upgra...

Re: Minotaur class

Since the vast majority of damage occurs to the front and rear of a player ship, the armor layout on the Minotaur-class means that the 6-panel armour is a disadvantage rather than an advantage. The Manticore has two front panels and two back panels, making it significantly tougher than a 4-panel shi...
