Re: Xelerus will no longer function from 1st September, 2017

@EditorRUS I just listed some possible reasons why someone might want to setup a proxy for downloads. An accurate download count doesn't seem to be terribly important for Xelerus. The way it (apparently) counts is not a particularly accurate way to do it. It would be easy to save the direct download...

Re: Xelerus will no longer function from 1st September, 2017

-- Flat is better than nested -- The point would be to do things like avoiding having to store the files on the server's storage system (as this can be more expensive or have other drawbacks) Then why not simply request files directly from this other server and avoid having to set up a proxy in the...

Re: Xelerus will no longer function from 1st September, 2017

Hey, I know I haven't been a properly active member of the community for some time, but I'd like to recommend hosting mods primarily on Github (or possibly Gitlabs). In case you don't know, this is where the Transendence source lives as well. For those not familiar with git, git is a version control...

Music for part 2

So, um, there is a song by Lindsey Stirling, and it's called Transcendence. It's kinda mysterious and breaks into exiting as it goes. I really feel like it would fit well with Transcendence, or at least the more high action parts of Transcendence. I suppose it would be a pain (and probably expensive...

Re: Weapon change function

I found my error. I'm going to check the Xelerus upload now though, because I think it may have had broken code for the last two years. [Minutes later...] Yep, it's been broken over the last two years. I find that depressing and kind of embarrassing. So basically, I had changed the name of the...

Weapon change function

Just when you guys will swear I left for good, I'll pop back into this forum. Anyway, I wanted to make the linked fire able to turn off an on, so I stuck it in my (I use "my" loosely) weapon switching mod, only to find out (to my dismay) that the function doesn't work in 1.06a. Here is a link to the...

Support for the Razer/Sixense Hydra

As I have one of these controllers, I felt it my duty to make a configuration for Transcendence. I'm not saying it's better than using the keyboard, and it's not. But if you have one and prefer controllers to keyboards, here it is. The MCE file goes in the Razer/Hydra/Sixense folder. You will then n...

Re: Control Change?

Do you by chance do some tech stuff? Because I've only ever seen people who use Dvorak who happen to also be tech enthusiasts. :) No, I just switched over to Dvorak because I like it more :D It's just easier to type with. At the same time, people who are moderately informed, and even many considere...

...I want to tell somethink...but...there is censure... Hehe, I know what you mean. Interesting that you have the F-18 on your list. That is one aircraft I never like by for looks. I did forget some on my list though, the P-38 for one. And while it never went into production, I like the looks of th...

Re: - Off-Topic Airplane -

SR-71 is definitely a sweet plane, and used to be my favorite. But the F-22 currently has that spot. Yeah, stealth isn't perfect, but it works well enough to defeat AA radar systems long enough to neutralize. The first publicly known (according to Wired magazine) F-22 "shot down" was by an F-16 in a...

You aren't supposed to go through the stargates, just fly by them. They want to patrol the in-system shipping lanes.

...I recognized Delphi and EAGLE... Ok, about this tithing thing. I'm from a christian church, and I can say that tithing does not necessarily mean giving a tenth of your worth anymore. At our church in particularly, it is just a matter of giving whatever you feel God wants you to give. At a lot of ...

1-UP time. I got a dual particle in the second system. I had to go to the third system to get enough credits to buy it. Other than that, the RNG made a lower than average quality first couple systems.

Sweet. I have something to look forward to on our next long car trip. Oddly, that's almost the only time I play, except for a short time after each one. Laptops FTW!

Eight. No facebook, myspace, facespace or mybook!
