There isn't much that handles the kaidun......it's about the only thing I like about the Phobos, for all it has an insanely high ion bombardment, and a feeble howizter weapon....that shield suits it really well. One thing I have noticed in the early game.....because the White Strelka is at quite a l...

Hornets are best dealt with by holding down the fire button and waiting for them to come around again. I've actually seen them outrun smartcannon shells when I've fired them while travelling (and that's in the RIGHT direction....not firing them backwards ;) )....so if I'm not packing an omni weapon,...

After an entire YEAR of thread-death, this topic interests me enough to post here. The one thing that hasn't really been mentioned is the Rassiemesser Smartcannon. If you can find an accelerator and either an enhancement ROM or some extra upgrades....it will take out anything short of a drake or fri...

interjecting my small bit for the last post regarding the plasma cannon. i sometimes forget it even has that secondary weapon because of the ridiculous amount of ion bombardment the phobos dishes out.. i'm sure the ion issue has already been discussed too. that's all i had to input. :) This is a go...

Re: Mid/late game balance

1. Systems after St. Kat's get deadly too quickly. Maybe we need to tone down some of the initial Sung bases. I used to get creamed by them, but so long as you have a NAMI and some KM500s or XM900s, slave camps aren't a problem. Forts can be, however...but XM900s or an Akan 30/600 will take care of...

Try spawning *2000* Aquilas when you are next to a freindly station..THEN......ze circle of wrath, then invoke sustain. And defend, in this case. Using a bog-standard NEC "Versa" P9110 Laptop....you should see this after approx 1-1.5hrs, if you click the screen at that point. At that stage there sho...

I vary between all three! God-modes are all very well, but they can be REALLY boring. Plus, since I refuse to use Godmode-style weapons, armor and shields.....eventually I tend to get unstuck, die, and/or crash the game. Playing until I beat it is nice, but I don't often do it. Usually, I get bored ...

Mildly on-topic: How far i have got with an underleveled *computer* http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p201/JRA_SHRIKE/f21e12f5.jpg ........although, had the game not crashed a few minutes later, I very much doubt my shield would *not* have been under-levelled for that kind of caper.....8000+ Aquila...

I've never used Transuranic armor, so clue me in.....does a +REGEN completely counter the decay, or does it just slow it down? Hey! Its another Kiwi! In answer to your question, I personally use regen nanos, and a patcher arm. My shield is an ion-reflecting trenton (but I've cast my greedy eye on a...

As for under-level shields....it's surprising just how far you can get with a Monopole deflector. Sung are BAD news to you when you have one, though. I've also sometimes use...

I guess a september release date is most likely then, given George's past release pattern. Then again, he could push it back since this is afterall, 1.0.
Whenever it is, it's well worth waiting for.....

If you're talking about alterecco's godmod the problems with the item list interface only. If you create items by UNID or name you shouldn't have any problems. Yeah. That's the one...and usually, I do that by name. Problem is, I don't have the UNIDS, and for all I have an excellant memory for item ...
