I have not seen this bug with the Corsair....but I HAVE done an escort mission where a late-model Ronin class was escorting the freighter as well. Quite convenient, really........but not supposed to happen, I think. It only happened once, however.

What I don't get about Radiation....why does it kill autons? They're ROBOTS!

.....I've lost several 1Ms to Sapiens stations (Especially those firing XM300s)....and for all they aren't THAT expensive (or good, for that matter...)...it is a wierd way to lose a robot.

The no-fire zone around stations definately needs tweaking. I yesterday abused it by shooting Ferian miners until I had 3 or 4 Warriors coming after me, then sat between the arms of a Black Market Shipyard. That Xenophobe Ark genuinely scares me........I've had it up on the menu screen a few times to see if any of the ships that normall turn up could swarm it......so far, nothing's managed it. I've never got that far in RC.1 to actually fight it myself, however. And the ferian warriors are really nice ...

I have confirmed that gating/loading into a generated system generates those invalid painter errors... a whole lot of them: my debug log is .5MB! I think the problem with slow gating has to do with all the "invalid painter creator" errors. There is a bug when loading an old system in which the game tries (and fails) to find a null painter object for every object in the system. All the searching and error logging takes time. It's fixed in RC2...

Hornets are best dealt with by holding down the fire button and waiting for them to come around again. I've actually seen them outrun smartcannon shells when I've fired them while travelling (and that's in the RIGHT direction....not firing them backwards ;) )....so if I'm not packing an omni weapon,...
