The more I read, the mroe I'd want to try your mod out. Seems like youre creating the SLASHEM for Transcendence here :D But did I miss something: I dont see any link to a download location, not even in your forum... Considering the amount of stuff youre putting into this, Im surprised there is no te...

Hmmm, I must have changed something in my cheaters ship. Im not getting that assertion anymore. It was reproducible about 3 times, till I wrote about it. I suspect to have it overridden by another version. I used the windows version to test my xml. If you can give me some more details about when and...

I got an assertion with version 13: transcendence: Transcendence/TSE/CSystem.cpp:2937: void CSystem::WriteObjRefToStream(CSpaceObject*, IWriteStream*): Assertion `dwSave != 0' failed. This happened right in Eridiani, when trying to save the game. My god modded firefly ship must be causing this: Its ...

Till I have write access in trac, Ill need to add it here to not forget about: I managed to create an invisible cargo crate with the windows version. the savegame also works with the linux version, behaving exactly the same way. The linux version does not tell me that an extension is missing, it jus...

invisible cargo crate
EDIT: add trac ticket link I was mining and ran out of cargo space. Lots of titanium this time, about 200 tons or so. I decided to leave some of my stuff on the planet below the sisters of domina. When moving on, I wondered where the cargo crate had gone. Shock: Did I loose all my stuff? Did some gr...

Also 'lost' some rescued Huari slaves to the Commonwealth. Id like to make them a new ~item~, like "rescued Huari slaves" which are not automatically freed. But ok, I guess Ill just take care in future games after this. Of course you could buy slaves from a black market station and finish the Huari ...

I could take care of the linux builds... plenty (relative) of space for chroot environments here. Only limitation is my time if things dont work out of the box. I dont have a Mac (and sadly didnt have the money to buy one when they still had PPCs inside...). As the are x86 too now, cant they be emul...

getlibs.sh: I used ldd to find out which libs it needed and searched for packages with "dpkg -S". Seems Debian doesnt have 32 bit versions of every lib, so I copied from my 32 bit chroot what was needed. I remember Debian has tools (package "ia32-libs-tools") to create 32 bit packages of installed p...

I let version 11 run for a while, watching various ships blast each other up on the intro screen. After a while it exited with transcendence: DirectXUtil/CGImage.cpp:891: virtual void CGImage::DrawMask(int, int, const CGImage&, int, int, int, int, COLORREF): Assertion `0' failed. Im not sure what le...

Id also like some way to change key bindings. Fortunately Im using linux and can use "xmodmap" to bind any symbol to any key. Im basically unhappy with the cursor keys on my keyboard. The are not too usable. So I remapped them the keypad and "." to KP_5. Here is an excerpt from my "~/.xmodmap" file:...

Great work so far! Here are a few things I noticed. Some are already fixed in this new version and some are new: fixed : - activating a "first level" menu item inside a station takes two keystrokes - some keystrokes are doubled: - pressing "u"ndock in a station also pops up the "use item" menu - inv...
