I agree that the Manticore should be able to survive a single burst of pretty much anything with appropriate equipment. The APA has been changed so that it's no longer a factor here, but the Lightning Turret still presents issues here. I'd like to see a resistance system that lets heavy armor shrug ...

I also like the Manticore as - is. I'd like to see it integrated better with the vanilla Manticore, but other than that it's one of the more unique, balanced ships. The Freyr is the ship with the issues. It's incredibly OP with the (already OP) dual Flenser, but has no useful early or late game adva...

This has been an issue for a while.Also using plyChangeShip with some ships gives no actual thrust. The thrust effect shows and the ship will turn, but not move anywhere.

I like it - it definitely feels more unique than the current implementation of lancers. The sfx would need a rework, but other than that, it'd be a huge step towards more real options for combat.

Screen scaling is an advantage Endless Sky has over Transcendence, and since Endless Sky recently implemented their version of autopilot (3x instead of 5x) in 0.9.7, I zoom the screen out more because the time shift offsets slowdown from whatever reason and/or give me more time to react to incoming...

Asynchronous multiplayer could be a thing. If we can just upload specific data to multiverse and ask for it for players we can have players interact with each other in single player games. Heck, they could even play in the same topology and see what the other players do with the right kind of mod. ...

The main issue here is that money isn't all that necessary. There are a few reasonably affordable(or lootable) rather OP weapons that can carry you through many systems, eliminating the need to upgrade, there aren't any threats that can chase you down or threaten you sufficiently that consumables ar...

This mod is largely obsolete due to the recent update to the game that did what this was going to do. Ditto for Syndikat fixes. I can make the change if you'd like, but there's nothing unique that needs to be archived.

I think the number of players not exiting Eridani may be skewed because of mod testers. At least for me, every time I get a new mod I start a new game to fly around Eridani. We can assume that George would only track registered games, given that the goal is to look at new players trying out the gam...

NPC ships in Escape Velocity: Override would do something like this, but all of the unique NPCs in Transcendence (aside from mods) are currently plot-relevant. Having every NPC ship send out greetings would add an awful lot of chatter to try to sort through, even if you trimmed it down to ones not ...

I definitely like that idea. Restricting fast, accurate weapons like lasers to short range, letting bullets be more difficult to use but longer ranged, and (most importantly) making the highest ranged weapons ammo - based or in possession of other significant drawbacks is a good balancing strategy. ...

I think the best improvement would be to add a bit more character to the background. It's almost always just a flat set of stars right now. Adding a few layers of stars with parallax effect, some background nebula(particularly in nebula heavy systems) and foreground effects(like the little particles...
