Re: Multiverse open for uploading mods
We're going to need a way to delete collection items for sure now, in case of mod conflicts breaking the game.

Re: [Concept]: Outlaw miner update
Well like I said, I feel like this should go along with an update to mining in general. There's room for more variety than just lasers. That aside, I think the mining auton shouldn't be Taikon; Taikon seems to be more of a cutting edge tech company, while mining autons would be common, industrial te...

Re: [Concept]: Outlaw miner update
To elaborate a bit more on what I mean: the plasma torch also had the same function as your advanced mining laser - high damage, close range, high level. Functionally there would be no difference between the two, but it could make sense to have multiple high level mining devices if they served diffe...

Re: [Concept]: Outlaw miner update
What I mean is we don't neccesarily need more mining equipment. Mining ships are built for mining, there's no reason to outfit them like battleships if you can have a supporting fleet. Even Ferians only have plasteel, and its acceptable because they have Warriors to defend them. I think the supporti...

Re: [Concept]: Outlaw miner update
As far as equipment goes, I'm fine with keeping it as-is until we see a proper mining update. Updating ship tables is a good idea though, maybe integrating them more tightly with the other outlaw factions. It might be good if outlaw mines had a more unique look, because its easy to confuse them with...

Re: Continuous beam weapons
I think charge-up lancer weapons would be acceptable in general.
For ion weapons like the lightning turret, it wouod be really cool if they actually behave and look like lightning, with branching/erratic paths.
Everything else will probably need some experimentation, I think.

Re: Coming Soon: Reign in Hell
Update: The adventure has been delayed because I kind of dropped everything for a new job, and I don't yet have internet at my new place - but it is ready.
When I get the chance I will upload it, and after a brief beta period (maybe a week) it will be released.

Re: [Meta] why are there so many mods on the forums but not Xelerus?
AP hit the nail on the head. I would still use xelerus for small, complete mods, but if you were to look at my projects now none of them would fit the filesize limit - even what I would call a "small" mod now is pushing it. And without being maintained, the majority of mods are broken or obsolete. M...

Re: dockscreen special highlight keys query
There is some stuff I could add or fix on that page. But apparently I didn't have a wiki account. Now I do (NMS), but I don't have permission to edit. I activated your account. Feel free to write as much on the wiki as you want; If you're not sure where to put something, ask me or 0xABCDEF/Archcann...

Re: Black Market, CSC Medical
You can build Black Market rank by purchasing lots of items from their stations. Gaining rank will lower the cost of items, and at higher ranks you can talk to the boss to ask for better weapons or shields. If you sell or donate large amounts of medical supplies to the CSC infirmary, the doctor will...

Re: Error when running 903_DirectorsCut V0.8 by Styro
I've looked at it a bit, I think the fastest way to get it to work would be to take the topology and scrap everything else - should be fairly quick.

Re: Error when running 903_DirectorsCut V0.8 by Styro
The text smearing is because there's no intro image defined for the adventure - which is understandable because its so old.
The adventure might be easy to fix, but it might be even less work to just make a new one altogether. I'll take a look at it later.

Re: Eternity Port, St Esperanza's Star, and The Morningstar's instant death:
Morningstar isn't supposed to die, but as long as you're able to continue the storyline its a harmless bug. After the final battle with Luminous, the main storyline is pretty much over. You can then backtrack and clean up any other subplots you haven't finished, and you "win" the game when you retur...

Re: Asset Forge for Transcendence (WIP)
I would most certainly consider it, since it sounds promising. If you do make a pack, can the blocks be edited afterwards or does that require opening copies in Blender or whatever? They sure can. They'd be saved as .obj files, so of course you can edit them in any 3D program you like, but you can ...

Unused ship graphics
Here's a small collection of ships I made that I don't plan on using. You're free to use these in your extensions however you like.
