Re: Best & Worst Weapons
That is quite strange, I also wonder why certain load outs of the advanced manticore gunship are equipped with the moskva 11... its a pretty ineffective level 3 weapon fitted on a ship that mostly uses level 6-7 equipment.

Re: Best & Worst Weapons
Moskva 11 light turret and advanced urak mass driver, definitely the worst early game weapons IMO, the centauri recoilless at least has some decent range to it, whereas with these you practically have to ram the enemy ship to attack it.

Re: On Siege MAGs: useless ?
In the later parts of the game? yes, but they are the best choice for busting early/mid game stations IMO, when going face to face with heavily armed/armored stations like sung citadels and dwarg forts I just CHAAAARGE and start spamming siege MAGS, the station almost always goes boom before it gets...

Re: [1.2b3] Balance issues?
Not only should the damage of micronukes be reduced, but there weight should also be increased, they seem far too lightweight for how much damage they do super boosted or not. A tundra can 1 hit a military freighter... A single well placed micronuke could take out a scarab without the damage increas...

Re: [1.2b3] Balance issues?
http://i.imgur.com/zXsuFGq.png The ares positron cannon has also been boosted, it now does nearly as much damage as lamplighter along with more range and ludicrous shield damage. The only thing it does not have over lamplighter is the WMD, but its still a better weapon now IMO. Did I mention you ha...

Re: [1.2b3] Iocrym not using internal damage?
It will probably be added in later... lots of other capital ships also did not get internal damage or compartment hitpoints, most notably the hospital class CSC's, CSC antarctica and CSC terra, which are all quite important for game progression.

Re: Finding The Right Price for Corporate Command
Hmm.. I'm being called a boy, by a boy. :? It's fine, but how did you know I'm a boy? By all means, I could be 97 years old. I don't think I've ever stated that I am a boy... Are you secretly monitoring me?? Calm down, it was probably a guess, adventure/action based games like transcendence...

Just made it to charon in my first vanilla playthrough of the beta, and noticed that the fortress is unusually close to the center of the system...
Is this another system generation bug, or just a coincidence?

Re: [1.2b3] Balance issues?
 If a micronuke does that much damage now, i'm guessing warhammers will 1 shot KO every station in the game? While I agree that some of the later game capital ships are definitely a little too powerful now most of them needed a boost badly. Drake missileships and urak destroyers in particular...

Re: Finding The Right Price for Corporate Command
If the DLC can be edited via XML like the transcendence.tdb, then I will be happy to pay 10$+ for it, because that would allow nearly unlimited replay value!

Re: Station Balance
One of the reasons why many stations are so weak is because of the way they take damage, stations that lack a "multihull" attribute will usually receive 1% damage from any non WMD weapon projectile that hits them. This is why dual laser weapons are so much better for early game base busting then kin...

Re: A More Dangerous Universe Mod V4
The beta releases of transcendence have changed a lot in the game, many capital ships have had there firing rates slowed drastically but also have a lot more endurance due to the new compartment system... several other ships/stations have been buffed/nerfed as well, requiring a balance overhaul to e...
