Re: Multiverse Connection Issue?

yes, I just purchased the Eternity Port ( finally ) and when I went to download it by running the game I got this :

My first thought - 'RPC what??'

Re: .Bat file text for compiling a .TDB ?

---I can't run TransData nor TransCompiler , the command prompt windows come up & close. If you mean the black command line window appears for a fraction of a second before vanishing again, then I've found that something isn't right (file in the wrong place, wrong directory, code error, whatever) w...

Re: .Bat file text for compiling a .TDB ?

TransData is a command line utility, and any function that can be done in command line can also be automated using a Batch file. Here is the file that I use to compile Typehack. Here is some information on what each line does. 1. Comment that says "Compiles: Typehack" 2. Set the current directory t...

.Bat file text for compiling a .TDB ?

Since we ( very grateful peons ) have access to the text for a .Bat file to use in decompiling, the many .TDB files.. I was hoping it was possible to use a .Bat file text for compiling...... Why? Because my computers will not let me ( despite having "full control" of the system , which obviously doe...

Re: What is the best way to end your game?

( now I will probably ramble on.....but ) It's obvious you were cut out for being a King....... And it's funny you put it that way because we can now see how you can postulate ignorance of the masses simply from your avoiding an answer to the question. So we can assume from your own words, your Maje...

Re: TransCompiler Usage

i have tried this, my computer will not co-operate.
&& for such things as Living Minutes, there are multiple .xml involved.

We have a .bat file code that decompiles .tdb

Is there a way to have one that can compile?

What is the best way to end your game?

I ask because the players guide gives you a good deal of info , but doesn't tell you how to end the game with any real feeling of accomplishment or style. I mean, to Abdicate is easy......to be given poison and left in a room is slightly interesting...... what are the ways that are actually suggeste...

Re: How to decompile the Source code for modding

Oddly enough there is a difference here between the code I got from the forum & what has been posted in the "Decompile" file offered here. Code I use was obtained : http://forums.kronosaur.com/viewtopic.php?f=17&p=72546#p72546 FOR %%A IN (*.tdb) DO TransData /decompile /dataFile:%%A Code in file off...

Re: 1.8 Alpha 3

Anyoen else getting the "circling orange rings of death"? On quite a few occasions trying to start a new game results in the loading screen getting stuck forever creating a game. The prolog disappears and the circling orange game creating stuff just goes on and on. It can happen with or without mod...

Re: Multiplayer

servers are required - some games have User contributed servers ......how it's paid for IDK. Servers & internet are expensive & George can't be expected to shoulder the cost of expanding the Multiverse to cover a possible explosion of hits. The Universe ( with or without Mods enabled ) needs to be w...

Re: Station buy limits, game balance, and dynamic economy

Trading came up during the stream tonight and we discussed buy limits. Also, I've been meaning to look at the buy and sell screens because there are some other issues to fix/improvements I'd like to make. I think what I wrote in the first post about buy limits is still a good summary, and I edited ...

Welcome !!!!!!!! yes, these pilots appear to be few and quiet....but I learned that many pilots in the game often come to look up information without registering ( like I did originally ) . But don't let that fool you into thinking this is all of the players : Transcendence forums are made ( transla...
