Re: [Spoilers] Huari mission
Do not accidentally Shatter the Dragon Slaver or you'll never get your free antimatter weapon and dragonballs :3 You can shatter the rest if you wish, but I find it more productive to just go into this place with 4 Dwarg Holochroal and a ship that supports them. >_>'

Oh gad I LOVE that.
Looks so much better than the field barriers.

Re: The Huari political ideology must be very bizarre.
The Huari will NOT attack bases on their own. I had a Commonwealth-aligned Fuel Station pop up very near a Huari base. It was perpetually divested of its escort but it lives. Patrol radius of Hurins can take them to other bases but Hurins will never try to blow up bases (unless shot at by said build...

Re: Sticking to one ship is a missed gameplay opportunity
I'm all for changing ships mid-game, if only for appearances' sake. :3 If this is done like Wing Commander Privateer and limited to the Starting 4 (3 + Osaka) , +3 for Corp Com - I'm not sure I see how balance is a problem. The ships are currently designed such that you'll remain in them for the who...

Re: How do I proceed from here?
Naw, if you have the targetting ROM on, F-target the wreck. The dock command will target targetted targets (:p).
If that still doesn't work, you're bugged. <_<'

Re: How do I proceed from here?
Yeah, nobody wants to mount defectives for.... 10+ versions now, except for armor slabs - and even for armor slabs, the moment you try to remove anything at 25% and below in a hangar, it gets removed from the game. PS: Amatuer or not, I'm not too iffy about recommending ammo based weapons where the ...

Re: How do I proceed from here?
I'm sorry to say, you won't be able to complete every mission before the lobsters start arriving. This is where you need a Titan or Megadrive just to get to the scene of attacks before they reach'em. In a pinch you can safely ignore stations you already completed the missions for, but you WILL want ...

Re: The Beginner's Guide to Commerce [WIP guide]
The Inertialess Drive offers unique novel strategies, but is not really helpful for commerce. You can actually slingshot yourself - turn off the Inertialess while you're thrusting and then continue to coast, this would of course only be possible if you have a keyboard that has more than 3 key rollo...

Re: The Beginner's Guide to Commerce [WIP guide]
Inertialess Drive: This completely useless alien artifact removes inertia from your ship while activated: You will only move while thrusting forward, and will stop as soon as you stop thrusting. You also accelerate to top speed immediately. This is usually a waste of fuel and makes combat very hard...

Re: The value of life?-- Rama---Volkov and Jeana
I got Jenna killed in front of Rama once and Rama said something. But I couldn't catch it. I may be mistaken about the implication of THAT but I highly suspect that Jenna is Rama's protege - well before he got on the retirement track. Nothing's said about this, so I can't be sure. >_>'

Re: The value of life?-- Rama---Volkov and Jeana
Frankly you don't need the wingmen unless you don't have an Omniweapon in whichever stash you're using. Volkov is enough to deal with the pirates. Who don't have much in the way of Laser Resist. And frankly, yes I'd like to upgrade wingmen, even without mods. Maybe it wouldn't be in character for Vo...

Re: The value of life?-- Rama---Volkov and Jeana
In my recently concluded playthrough, halfway through the game I left Jenna and Rama in Elysium.
And completely forgot to take them through the final stargate.
...I like to think they joined the explorer corps.
Somehow. <_<'

Re: Lord Mihko, the Quantum Syndicate Lord
Lord Mikho is just like Thor.
He is everywhere.
Perhaps he was the patron god of mafioso before Domina became the dominant (heh) religion.

Re: Naming themes among Soviergns
Taikon Ventures I don't know if the devs intended it, but the pinyin for "space" in Chinese is "Tai Kong" (太空). Korolov Shipping Sergei Korolov was instrumental in the successful Russian attempt to beat the Americans into space. He was behind Sputnik and Yuri Gagarin's journey. He didn't live long ...

Re: Naming themes among Soviergns
Ronin were warriors in feudal Japan Ronin were warriors - masterless ones. It's not a glorious title, as it implies you are either not the loyal type and no lord will take you in, OR you unfortunately failed to protect your feudal lord, OR worse - you fell out of favor with your feudal lord but wer...
