Not quite the same, but I have a save where Anton was drifting off into space before triggering the mission. He seemed to keep drifting after reload, and only stopped when I left the system for a sec. Also, after Gunsan, I never managed to find Kate again, so I had to just leave the area which clear...

1.3b2 Strange explosions

Sometimes, when you destroy something, there is a strange additional explosion off to one side and moving at your weapon velocity. The off to one side aspect makes me think it may be related to side mounted weapons.

I have a group of heliotropes who are just stopped in the middle of nowhere for no apparent reason.

I assume they will wake up if I get close, but having them just sit there is wierd.

This is the radar as I circled round them without any movement.

I haven't the faintest idea what counts as "normal", but...

Kate, by comparison, has mostly the same numbers, except a thrustRatio of 2 (equivalent to 16000 I guess)

I'm getting the same sort of problem. Nasser zigzags off to the edge of the system. I hope he will get better after a reload. In a previous system he went AWOL and I completed the "wait for Anton and Kate" part of the mission by leaving the system to reset things.... If I'd known he was going to do ...
