Re: Next Paid Extension Poll
Dimitry, you said software is cheaper in Russia?
to parents Mom, Dad? I'm moving to Russia.
So Dimitry, tell me, since I shall now be moving to Russia, where should I go? Moscow, St. Petersburg? Any recommendations?

Re: Mantle GPU API will be used in Battlefield 4
I've been following it for about a month now, and I am even going to get a new r7 260x graphics card (updated 7790). Yes mantle is supposed to be better optimized, specifically for AMD. I do not think that Mantle is the end for Direct X, for the same reason that the xbox one and ps4 are not the end ...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually
Okay, that is another way to discern an object's shape without looking, though I think it's not so different from looking(reading the lights bouncing from the object) and maybe even more destructive a way to observe. I only think that is what they did, I am still not exactly sure how they did it th...

Re: Particle Physics Isn't That Hard Actually
I like how scientists did that one experiment where they proved that when you don't look at them quarks look like pixels.... Link to the paper for this experiment? It was on "Into the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman" as proof that we are simply a computer simulation. They bounced some kind of somethin...

Re: Modding & Corporate Command
Solution: Set up a different modsite (like xelerus) for mods made for CC and make it so that you log in with your multiverse account.
For mods that have some CC content: Honer system, and we learn as we go.

Re: Modding & Corporate Command
+1 to TVR's idea, it would be great to play a succession with the developer of the game, see how players play your game... And for us to see how the dev does it. He may be better than all of us, or like me, ignores his own work and so is n00bish when it comes to skillz compared to us at his own game!

Re: Next Paid Extension Poll
I think it might have some relevance to your computer's total memory. My virtual machine have only 1024 Mb. allocated. If you have a computer with bigger memory, you might be able to load saves with bigger size. I've observed that when I run many processes and my computer's memory is used to much, ...

Re: Next Paid Extension Poll
@ Wolfy: It doesn't matter how you reach the memory limit. You could use Planet Parallax or Network, etc but I think with very large (24+ hours) and very long (30+ star systems) games the error becomes more common. Remember how I did a 100 system game that time? I never had a save error, and the Ne...

Re: Succession #6 Corporate Command Sneak Peek
Agreed. Figuring out what loot/mess the previous player has left you with and making the best out of them is one of the charm of a succession game. I would appreciate more detailed write-up, though, I would recommend taking a screenshot any time something important/interesting happens and give a br...

Re: Succession #6 Corporate Command Sneak Peek
I don't know if I have no idea of what I'm doing or if our play styles are just so radically different but I cannot use this setup. With playership drones I might since I could have a nice gunship but as long as I live I shall never do this again. I load in and I have a +300% omni tritium cannon and...
