I'm afraid I'm still seeing the same phenomenon in RC5. Flying past the larger stations with enough speed (freighter is fast enough, should be more noticable with a Wolfen) makes the stations look "choppy".

It's lv1, but so far I've had only fairly small quantities per (small) asteroid. Makes sense since it sells for quite a bit.

Guess I just got lucky, then.

Hm, I just had 40-odd tons of uranium ore pop from a small rocky asteroid in the second system. Was I just lucky?

Probably. Feel free to go, err, postal on those raiders.

I could see nerfing the wolfen, but the sapphire and freighter need every edge they've got. That's the thing - in the end, winning the game boils down to combat (after earning enough funds, which can also involve combat), and the Wolfen just beats the other two options hands-down, since it can moun...

Well, yeah. They're probably just delivering all the very much legal precursor substances for the drugs.

[Graphics] "Tearing" artefacts?

I noticed something that looked like "tearing" artefacts (usually encountered in 3D games when wait on vsync is turned off), especially when moving near large (e.g. Commonwealth) stations. It looks like the game it switching frames in the middle of the image being sent to the monitor. I tried forcin...

2. I think Omni's should have the same range as their inherited weapon with reduced fire rate, and increased level, price, power consumption, and mass. I thought about that a bit. As far as I know, a weapons level weighs into how much damage it does against armor and shields of a different level, r...

[RC3] Molybdium field crystal bug?

In RC3, I used a Molybdium field crystal on a 100 MW Mammoth. It briefly (< 1s) appeared as +30%, but then I got the message "Blue etherium field crystal has burned out." and the +30% enhancement disappeared. For the record: The same shield had previously been enhanced with a particle- and an ion-re...

Small feature request: System list with annotations.

Would it be possible to add an in-game list of the star systems that have been visited, along with the option to add some notes to each? I usually lose track of where I am and what systems contain interesting stuff when I save and don't play the game for a few hours. Having in-game notes would make ...

Re: Beginner Armors

With the buffing of armors in RC3, it might be worth talking about what beginner armors (by which I mean pre-st.Ks) are best... Solar armor. And a decent shield, since you can use one of the power hogs if you have essentially unlimited free fuel. Searching for a full set of solar armor is usually o...
