Re: Does the Multiverse work under Linux/WINE?

I run on Linux Mint 14 Nadia, myself, using WINE 1.4.1. It’s always worked just fine for me for logging into Multiverse, and is what I was using when I downloaded both Corporate Command and the Osaka.

Re: What was your first time like?

I started with 1.1.0, and after having played it a few dozen times, now, I’m guessing I probably had one of the luckiest first runs in the history of Transcendence.  I went with a Sapphire to start off in. Starton had a cannon accelerator. After dealing with Vaughn (and equipping his dual recoilles...

Re: Modder's Programs

Do you use/know a 3D software not in this list ? Post about it!  Alright, I will: POV-Ray . It’s free software released under the AGPL license.  If you’re used to meshes and modelers with anything even remotely resembling a GUI, this is probably not going to be the program for you. You don’t get to...

Re: Non-uninstallable weapon

If you want to check if this event is being called then use this and look at debuglog: <Events> <CanBeUninstalled> (block nil (PrintTo 'log "Is this being used at all?") ) </CanBeUninstalled> </Events> If 'Is this being used at all?' is not showing in the debuglog then this event is not being run/ ...

Re: Non-uninstallable weapon

That was just the latest attempt, modeled after something else I had found through searching. If I put every syntax variation I’ve tried up over here, we’d be scrolling for a while. I’ve tried putting stuff in <CanBeUninstalled>, <OnUninstall>, and <OnUninstalled> to prevent removal. At one point, ...

Re: Corporate Command Discussion

I've run into a bug with Anton Nasser once. On the mission where he asks you to follow him to attack a chimera station, he didn't move. He just kept wiggling back and forth but stayed in the same place. The station did appear on the map.  I ran into this one earlier today, myself, in the Anaxas sys...

Non-uninstallable weapon

Basically, I’m trying to make one as a built-in weapon — a launcher, specifically — on a ship I’m working on. I’ve tried… here, let me just do this, it’ll be easlier: <Events> <CanBeUninstalled> (block nil (setq return "This weapon is an integrated part of the hull and cannot be removed.") ) return...

…Yep, declaring my new existence on the Transcendence forum by requesting a UNID. Go figure…
