:( This new version is a little disappointing so far.
I can't reproduce this and could use some help.

Does it always happen? Try saving just before you get the mission and see if reproduces. If it does, I'd love to see the save file.

bmbl found a giant bug in the intro screen... 'n' nolonger deletes the formerly shown ship (I confirmed this; I managed to do it till it killed my comp's performance)

The new intro screens seems to get messy after some time :D
first image after 10-15 seconds of holding n, each other image after 30/60 more seconds of holding n!

It goes so far to get awfully slow :D

lol, just did this. when it shows the 'crowd' my CPU is at 20% across all cores. still looks smooth, but i could see how this might tax a slower computer.

Awesome bug. I wish I could keep it somehow.

Or a computer with 2.5GB of ram being used by firefox... :P

Anyways, instead of an RC8, think this could get fast-patched to an RC7a?

------------

in other news, I got transcendence below 1FPS by jamming a nail clipper over my 'n' key and letting it run for 4 mins or so...

How vexing. I can't seem to reproduce the bug myself.

Anyway, I backtracked to Eridani and saved, maybe you could take a look? Docking at Raisu after returning to Eridani makes my targeting program select the destroyed container habitat.

Just came online to report the same problem... I think the game doesn't delete multiple copies of the same ship. For e.g, if 10 ships are spawned and you press N, only 1 will get deleted and the other 9 remain...

I just love RC7 (all the work done on the intro and title) although the Saphire near the upper-left hand corner ruins the title's awsomeness IMHO. Tell me, what does it take to get on the ideas and testing part of the credits?

 I think the sapphire is my mouse cursor for some strange reason whenever I first see it in my peripheral vision if I'm not looking directly at it...

[edit]
That... was a rather redundant sentence that said the same thing twice in a manner that was rather redundant, similarily to this sentence, except unintentionally, where this redundant sentence is being rather stupidly redundant with intention, unlike the original redundant sentence. :P

Anyways, I changed my location to 'staring at the intro screen! :D'
