The bug fix to 1.06 is ready:

It has the following changes:

Fixed a crash bug while passing through gates
Fixed a bug with enhancing armor with nanos (potential crash bug)
Added stealth= attribute to stations
Item charges are now 32-bits
When insurance stations spawn, they are unique in the system
#678: Fixed a bug in sysStopTime
#684: Fixed objSetOverlayRotation so it doesn't require an extraneous argument.

Thanks to all who helped debug these issues, and particularly to Bill Dunigan, Kamil Cervenka, and Christopher Marston for submitting a bunch of save files that helped me debug.

Great to have the time stop bug fixed so fast
I must admit I had hoped to get objSetOverlayPosition just about as fast :P

The game crashed for me, I used the gem of despair to go back to Eridani and now every time I gate out of Eridani it crashes... so I'm stuck in Eridani... forever. D:

Fixed but not forgotten...thank you to all, especially George :)
but I was just starting to get used to the "bug" as a feature.....very bad ideas set them off, so obviously it was designed just for me :)
" player heads straight into hostile fortress with low shields, game says "stoooooooopid" and crashes".

copied from xelerus. Never met 4 heavy raiders in Eridiani and never ever did loot stuff like a 50MW reactor or the cyclotron S55 there... Or maybe its just full moon (more monsters in the dungeon and better loot) somewhere :D.
I should probably have installed that stuff...

The other example is still in progress, but looks like I will leave Eridiani with an unusual amount of cash - without doing any mining. Also more enemy presence detected in that game than I ever encountered in Eridiani in 1.06 and below.

The game is almost entirely random. The numbers of planets, names of stars, locations of enemy stations and the number of their ships, even the number of systems is random. Loot is another random variable. I once got lucky and left Eridani with 4x meteorsteel, 50mw reactor, slam cannon and 5000+ credits.

I'll check this out tonight but my question is: will I possibly find the NAMI Manufacturing plant here. Is it a random station? I only saw it once in my earliest game in 101 but in the succeeding games (or versions) no more. :?:
