Sent log and save file via mail ... hope so too, since Im using 7z for best compression. If I would understand the source code Id like to add some BSD-licensed zlib or something to Trans. It potentially cuts savegame size by factor 10.

Am having trouble with omni/turreted weapons (Akan in particular) when I was given the mission to intercept unknown hostiles & in Point Juno, to intercept Ares fleet. Even when "R" is pressed, the direction of weapon fired won't change it's trajectory when I try to change targets (and cost me Point Juno).

Windows 8 seems to have occasional trouble opening the game.

This appears to be more or less random...it's sometimes happened 3 times in a row, more commonly just once. Trying again usually resolves it immediately. This computer starts up the game VERY quickly, so it could be that it's trying to load the wrong thing at the wrong time....I dunno. The log isn't especially helpful.

In my folder I call this "120" : which I did not catch on as to why I did that until I realized after trying very hard to play it like the many before it........and got my tail handed to me EVERYTIME.

This is not a usual release version of the game : it is an AWESOME release version.

I did have a few ' minor" things that got past me because after all the many games I learned what is worth reporting and what is usually my computer's fault:)

but, I did find one thing that I can finally say is NOT my Computer's fault :)

I already know this behavior from 1.1 and earlier versions. If that unknown hostile is a sandstorm squadron one of these ships is automatically selected. If its destroyed another one is selected till all of them are destroyed. That makes it somewhat hard to target one specific ship, especially with an omni weapon. Im not sure if this is a bug or intended.

Intentional: obviously. it has been around too long and too specific to not be an intentional result of the mission objective.

Changing targets in-flight is sometimes useful, but , personally have never felt the Point Missions to be a problem :
but I like the position of "Kill'Em ALL" when I actually take those missions so it does not really matter which order they die in.

I've found a few bugs I think.


I've been sitting on a Fabrication chamber for a couple hours trying to make me a Plasma Archcannon, but the Fabricator seems to have been changed, I've gotten the exact thing I put in a couple times, and sometimes it comes out as a lower level item. And I don't think I've gotten any level 10 items out of it. It'd be nice to be able to drop multiple items at once, would help when dropping a lot of resources.

CSC America Spawned in 3 different systems and the Cerberus Station also appeared in multiple systems.

Point Jurno told me to go hit the ares army before asking me to help defend. It also started with just 2 Britannias around it, instead of the horde of Centurions that usually hang around there.

I killed the Konosourus after it killed the Freighter I was escorting and the Krolov guys didn't acknowledge it, and I didn't get Volkov.

Also I got no binary systems on this playthrough.

Yeah, teraton generation tables have changed in response to PM's argument that the fabricator was overpowered.

Found another thingy, not major, but could be caused by something major

The stargates are out of order and I think there are a couple might be missing

Things I've noticed in a full playthrough:

-There's about 3-4 CSC America's in my savefile. Probably some bug with the naming for non-medical carriers.
-Multiverse still isn't letting me even *try* to log in (I've actually forgotten my login details entirely as a result of not being able to get in since last year), which is a bummer when I've just reached what would be in the top 10 scores of all time on the leaderboards. Suspect it's a clash with Avast, but nothing I do to the firewall settings actually lets it work...and given it was just as bad on the old computer (using AVG), I suspect it's just that Multiverse is buggy.
