This is mostly a bug fix release:
1. Fixed a bug with FleetAI wingmen not stopping their attack.
2. Fixed a bug with disabled enhancers
3. Fixed a bug with all those CSC Americas
4. Added some more debug output for connectivity problems.
Some modding changes:
4. Added 'parallax property to objects (can be set with objSetProperty)
5. Added 'rotation property to objects (can be set with objSetProperty)
6. Added sysCreateEnvironment to create nebula
7. Added weaponUNID field in gData for <GetParameters>
Some gama balance changes:
8. Analyzers only show items capable of analysis.
9. Attack on Point Juno does not happen until player docks (and Point Juno has nav beacons so players know about it).
10. Point Juno has more hit points.
This build will be required for those playing succession.

so, let me guess.. enhancement remains capped at +50% ?
has anyone ever completed one of these 1.2 something versions as yet?

so. i just downloaded the beta 3 version and it seems to take an unusually long time to load. and it crashes a few times before i get the option to pick a ship. it happened the first few times.. im hoping that it doesnt take so long with a few more startings
I never noticed a 50% cap on enhancements. I haven't tried to go further yet but in beta 2 I have a particle weapon at 60%.

Not loading time, it is fast enough.
But some times game crashes when you start/pick your ship.
Never did that before these beta versions.
Good news, but ...
I was a bit mislead but since beta 2 it seems the error message "your ship cannot support any more devices" is missing. If the player attempts to install another device when no device slots are available it seems the device previously installed is removed and the new device is installed instead. This is still present in this version.
And that crash on loading a game is also still present:
"Unbehandelte Ausnahme bei 0x6500736c in Transcendence.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation." This time. Does not happen on every attempt to load a saved game, but noticeably often.
Could this be an issue with the save game structure of beta 2 and should I start a new game for beta 3?

1. I will revert to the previous behavior of device limits. That shouldn't happen to the player (it was meant for autons).
2. The crash on loading is obviously a problem. It sounds like it's not easily reproducible. Are you running any mods? Can you send me your save file?
3. There should be no problems between beta 2 and 3 for save files.
