Transcendence

This is a poll for george to get a general idea of what the community would like to see as the next paid extension after Corporate Command.

Its a non-binding poll - there is no guarantee that the winning item will be made next, but it will influence george's planning and decision making.

This poll will run for the next 30 days, and during that time you may change your votes! (So feel free to debate and discuss)

I want to point out that in all cases this would be a paid extension.

One of the things I'm considering is whether Part II should be a paid extension (or series of paid extensions). If people are OK with that, then it's likely that I would work on that as my next project. Otherwise, I'll probably work on a different extension first and wait until the business is in good shape to work on and release a free Part II.

Of course, people might prefer some other extension even before Part II, regardless of price, and I'm interested in that too.

Lastly, if there is content not in the poll that you want to see, post that too.

Agreed, if you start making us pay for the main canon, which you said you wouldn't, you would lose all my support and in my eyes you would be just as bad if not worse than EA and other big name companies that have released games where you have to buy the end. That is not cool, at all.

I thought it would be nice to have Part II sooner rather than later, which is why I offered it as an option. If no one goes for that option, then that's OK. We'll see what people want.

I'd love to see a lower-level adventure.....nothing over Level 6 or so in terms of equipment, lots of diverse stations and events and stuff....since the game has a lot of content relatively early on, it'd be great to see an adventure using the more "alive" part of the QZ. I'm probably fairly alone in that though. I'd probably pay for most of these.

I did not read this discussion so that is what I voted for, could I please withdraw my vote?

EDIT: Although I would consider a kickstarter as a good alternative to outright paying for it, and I would even support that option.

You should add 'paid extension' to the poll title. I changed my vote when I realized that I voted for Part II to be a paid for extension :S

Continuing on a "low level" extension: I would really like to see the industrial systems, where Are the shipyards, refineries and forges which use the ore gathered by mining colonies to produce ship hulls, armor and equipment?

I almost voted for part II until I read the posts carefully, and have abstained from voting (for now). Much as I like to see part II quickly, I rather not give up the free main canon, as sun1404 and Jay2Jay have pointed out.
