1.2 and Corporate Command Released!

1.2 and Corporate Command have been released to production!

If you run any of the RCs, it will automatically update to 1.2. Otherwise, you can download the new release at http://kronosaur.com/downloads/Transcendence.zip

Corporate Command cost $3, but see my next announcement for a giveaway!

I'm so happy to have reached this milestone and I want to thank everyone who contributed so much! I truly appreciate everyone's bug reports and help in getting the release out. Thank you all!

This release fixes the crashes that people were having and the Taikon bug that we discussed [It doesn't yet allow Point Juno or the CSC Terra to install the Lamplighter, but that will come in a subsequent update.]

In addition, I've also started to redesign the main web site. Only a few pages have been redone, but you can get an idea now at the homepage:

so i was giving corporate command a shot. i think i found a lethal bug.
in the silla system when you meet up with the guy with the big ship (couldnt find a targeting rom ) and somehow i got stuck onto the side of his ship like how a male angler fish does to the female when they mate. :shock:
i couldnt move away, i could turn but it was like i was stuck to the side of him.. and wait for the kicker.. i was right next to the guns, he shot down my shield while trying to destroy the enemy ships around me and then all it took was one hit from the base we were trying to destroy and boom! i die.
has anyone else had this unfortunate experience so far?

just resurrected and tried again. this time the dude himself blew me to bits. still got stuck onto him..

it seems to be something linked with his shields.. this time i declined the mission and i still got stuck onto him, but then i shot him tilll his shields went down, then docked with him and declined the mission again, then when i undocked i could move around normally. doing the mission now :D

my Season with the company I got a job with is over until next year, Winter will be more bearable ( as always ) with Transcendence at my side :)

The chimera missions are brilliant. Really brilliant. Just be careful of Howitzer Spam from your "friend" Anton and his cruiser.

so, i think i've found another bug possibly. the mission with anton nasser in the silla system.
after docking with his ship, he gave me the dialogue where he says they've detected another chimera station and we have to go destroy it, the he makes a beeline in the exact OPPOSITE direction!
so i go blow up the station and i took my time nicely executing the chimeras one by one and when im dont im supposed to meet him again, right?
so i look for him on the map because the green target arrow is pointing at the edge of my screen.. so i manage to catch up to him, because apparently hes not going at full speed, its a slow getaway for him, and i press d to dock but i just get the "no stations available" message and thats that. hes currently still heading out way past the edge of the system. around 50,000 ls away from the station.. i remember someone saying that the max distance in the game was 64000 or something.. ill probably see what happens then :P

im going to try to add a screenshot that i took when i tried catching up to him
i hope this doesnt ruin my chances of doing the rest of the cc missions :/

I hate to harp on and on about this, but blowing up Kate Morgenthal's ship in Rigel Aurelius before she reaches the arena still results in Mr. Katami being returned successfully and Kate being present and cheerful at your victory party.
