Hello Folks!
IRC Day is coming, and since a lot of the people here have never seen an IRC day before let me give some descriptions.
IRC Days are informal sessions with George, other modders and developers discussing the latest news and tricks regarding Transcendence, Kronosaur, and more.
Most questions are fine and we queue them up and have staggered moderated session and later an open forum.

Its a lot of fun and I encourage everyone to attend!

IRC Day will be happening on Sunday May 17th @ 2PM PST

Timezone/Attendance Information: Click here

And if you have questions, add them to the proper categories to the etherpad.

Categories? You mean the questions are formatted in some fashion other than one big randomized mess? ^.~

Count me in, of course. Looking forward to it!

Erm.....that probably rules me out, actually. Monday's (NZ time) are full of coursework....so depending on what time of day it is, the conversion to UTC+12 may mean I can't make it.

We do need to clean up the etherpad though. I deleted some stuff a while back which has it better, but it's still rather...chaotic.

Edit: Cleaned up the etherpad. Added some rules/guidelines. Please add any new questions in the appropriate category. New categories may be added as required.

"Maybe, but definitely will."

Did you mean "Maybe, but definitely will try."?

Regardless, that's my answer.

I'd assume George's time zone, which is western United States of America. I don't know if there is a specific time, though.

George hasn't gotten back to me, but it will be PST, I'll be providing a world clock as usually so people can see when the event is happening in their local timezone.

Let's do 9 PM GMT (2 PM PDT). These events usually last 2 hours, so Tokyo and Austrialia will be just getting up (on the following Monday) towards the end of the session.

I've added the timezone display site for the event starting at 2pm PST.
Feel free to use that to view when it starts in your timezone!

Right, that probably rules me out, sorry. I've got classes from 9AM-3PM on mondays.

Edit: oooh fancy use of the news system.

This might not be good:
Big Error Mesage I get instead of the etherpad wrote:An error occured while loading the pad

TypeError: $.browser is undefined in http://etherpad.kronosaur.com/p/ircdaymay2015 (line 917)

A new error is cropping up:
An error occured while loading the pad

Error: The module at "underscore" does not exist. in http://etherpad.kronosaur.com/static/js ... -kernel.js (line 1)
Browser is Seamonkey, 32bit, latest stable version. Refreshing/deleting cache doesn't do anything to fix it. Seems to be just me though.

Darn it! 2:00 in the morning for me, so I won't be able to attend.
