Viva la Vida...of Modding!

This is a response to Stealthx's request for something newer in the Katana tribute thread.
I used Viva la Vida (2008). It's about a 3 year gap, but all I could come up with in one day.

A tribute to Modders.
Viva la Vida- of Modding! to the tune of Viva la Vida by Coldplay (2008)

I used to rule the gates,
Ships would burn when I gave the word.
Now in the morning I sleep alone.
Sleep alone in my cargo hold.

I used to roll the dice,
Feel the fear in my enemies' eyes,
Listen as the crowd would sing-
"Now the Slicer is dead", the chant would ring.

One minute I held that rod,
No part II made me start to mod.
in the forums I saw that Part II stands
just right outside the Commomwealth's hands

I hear Xelerus pages a-clicking
functions documentation singing

I didn't know what I had to do

for some reason I can't explain
once you start there is never, never a chance you'll stop
modding is the last thing you'll drop

It was a wicked and wild change
I desired a UNID range
sleepless modding turned me into a bum
people couldn't believe what I've become

I don't want to wait
for my grades to dissipate
I just needed to start scripting
ah-couldn't get the neuros player to ring

for some reason I can't explain
anybody else feel this modding pain?
always a broken mod
but that was when I aimed too broad

Can't finish this Adventure Extension
guess I'll have to make another correction
copyright worries are on my mind
don't want to get in a legal bind

modding nonstop is too insane
yet outside I still mod in my brain
never an awesome mod
always something that had to be flawed.
