I think this is a bug in the engine. This could happen if you create a game under one Multiverse account and finish it using a different one. This never happened before because you can't load a registered game with a different account. But now that we're posting unregistered games, it might happen.

Could that be what happened?

Not really, I only have one multiverse account. However, I do play a lot without internet access. So maybe I could have triggered this bug because I started a game while offline and died when online?
