I wish, I wish, I wish I could turn off auto-save. It keeps saving at the start of unwinnable missions. Just now I took a mission to defend a ship in trouble against a luminous drone, and just as I got there a swarm of other enemies happened through the area... again and again and again, every time I restarted and tried the mission. But auto-save saved right after I accepted the mission. I am doomed to lose.
Unfortunately settings.xml seems to be useless in this matter. I changed "noAutoSave" to "true" and saved the file, but it still auto-saves. I checked the file... yeah, the change was saved in settings.xml, but trans still auto-saves.
