Do you remember the first time you saw a Corporate Cruiser? The first time those Thermonuclear missiles started pouring in and you didn't know where the heck they were coming from? I was just thinking about that... Any other fun first experiences you can remember about this game?
This is our game. And George is our hero.

About 30 seconds after gating into Point Juno the very first time I saw the 'sparkle' in a nebula so I went to investigate. My frieghter with a tiny shield and an omni laser did not let me fully appreciate what was happening.

I remember my first cometfall encounter...
*whoosh**whoosh**whoosh*boom!boom!boom!
Somehow, the cometfalls all lined up nicely and neatly, and then proceeded to shoot each other in the rear >.<. Then all the centurions swarmed the remaining one (The lucky guy in the rear) and blew it up. Not a single missile hit the station.

I remember the first version of the Stephinian Archcannon. It shoots out 6 guided projectiles, which do a little fragmenting fragments of fragments of fragments thing... Thank god they had the sense to put Ctrl-Alt-Del in windows. The archcannon now only shoots three projectiles, but it still slows down the game a good bit.
[schilcote] It doesn't have to be good, it just has to not be "wow is that the only thing you could think of" bad
