i just saw a ringer collective next to a gate

I had that before, with Hurin destroyers coming through one after the other, to be destroyed by the ringers.
Ended up with hundreds of Pteracnium fuel rods, thousands of supeconducting coils to sell, and slam cannons & duralloy armors galore.

Recently had a pair of Taikon Ventures side by side by a gate, killing Ventari Destroyers by the dozen as they mindlessly gated into the slaughter.

EDIT - best ever was a Ringers' Collective on the same screne as a Ferian Colony. Dead miners everywhere, freighter loads of ore going to the Ringers.

I once had 2 sung citedels and 2 ringer shipyards beside a stargate. Loads of wrecks...

Wow! I'm amazed that this thread is still going. I think FAD's battle is probably the best ever though. My last 4 games have been pretty mundane. Not a single xenophobe fleet. I did have 3 collectives in close proximity to each other in one of those systems with the small radius asteroid belt around the red giant. But 39 dreads takes the cake for the best battle ever.

I have the .SAV file and it's over 1 MB big, but I can't determine where that system is saved at due to WordPad not being able to translate the language.

I saw a real serious battle the other day...

Two guys were there staring at each other while a third guy was in the back telling jokes. Finally one of the serious guys couldn't handle the seriousness and began to laugh... so they splattered him with popcorn and whipped cream and dropped a cartoon anvil on him.
