In Herectic system, destroyed the iocrym mothership but the stargate remains inactive?

Dock with the wreck, grab the hieroglyph rod, dock with the gate, tell it to use said rod, then undock, and gate. Bingo, you're finished.

I had the rod but never thought of docking with the stargate.

I'm a little sad now I've completed it lol :D
