I want to know how to take them in the first place!
Oh, I see.
On Windows XP and Vista (I don't know about earlier), you can take screenshots of everything that is currently on the screen by pressing the PrntScrn/Print Screen button on your keyboard. This copies it to the clipboard. Open whatever graphics program you prefer (I use MS Paint when making screenshots that way), and either right-click and click on paste, or press CTRL+V (it's CTRL+C to copy, and CTRL+V to paste, in case you didn't know. it's a handy shortcut).
You can also get a screenshot program. There are a number of free ones, though I prefer ScreenHunter, since it's easy and simple to use.
You tell it what to folder to put the screenshots to, and what button to press for it to take the screenshot. Whenever you press that button, ScreenHunter generates a screenshot of the current screen, and saves it to the specified folder.

I remember having Win98, about 4 years ago I upgraded to XP. The Add/Remove programs list was so much more accurate in Win98...Burzmali wrote:You kids, that worked all the way back to win95
If it wasn't released after 2000 its not worth knowing about.

I remember having a shiny new Tandy computer with 16k Ram and one of those fancy new floppy disk drive.
That replaced my Atari 400, with cassette tape memory and 4k Ram.
Sorry about the OT post, but I was in a reminiscing mood...

Heh, jokes aside, the original quote goes like this:

Thing is however, that it's pretty much an urban legend. The man himself denies having ever said it, and there is no direct quote of it to be found. It's typical for quotes to be attributed to the "largest man in the field".640K ought to be enough for anybody.
