What's the worst thing (stupidity, error, newbieism, etc.) that you can possibly do in the Transcendence universe? If it's happened to you, please tell! :D

I'll get it started:

Fly into a Sung Fortress at all. Moral of the story: It's better to shoot from a distance with Lucifer XM900s! :)

Gate out of a system in desperation to get fuel. Not only do you die, but your game is then useless as whenever you resurrect you arrive at the stargate with no fuel at all.

Lol, made that mistake on my first attempt at playing Transcendence back in May of last year!

Stick to a Katana Starcannon for the rest of the game and hope it kills the Iocrym (after Point Juno, the Katana doesn't cut it. [it especially doesn't cut the Iocrym Command Ship. I tried. It only works if you have enough patience.])

I love the Katana Starcannon- I can't bear to let it go . The Tribute to the Katana Starcannon thread describes my futile attempt at killing the ICS with it.
Yes there were times- I'm sure you knew
when I shot at more than I could chew
...
I don't like
how level tiers
make it so that
you can't fight Iocrym

Needless to say, I got an IFC instead and proceeded to pummel it.

My worst was getting radiation issues, and then traveling to those void systems with no stations that can cure radiation.

I'm glad that higher level armors are now radiation immune (I thin stuff level 6+ is)

You don't realise how often you look at your LRS until you fly into a Nebulae and it goes all fuzzy and you fly right into a Sung Fortress. x_x

Yeah, I think most people fly with the map open, so you know where the stations are.

Also, first thing I do when I get into a nebula system is chart the stations (ie, via domina powers or map roms)
