Interesting named stuff : Station called "Tree Defenders"

Has anyone else found Interesting names in the game?
I have been playing for months......and it was not until I started messing with a system that this station comes up on the map " Tree Defenders".....
I posted it in the picture thread.
I will confess I use the name " tree museum" for one of my personal stations, but that .xml was NOT in the folder at the time this station arose.A new system Mod maker got me thinking on re-building a system and I pulled all my stuff out so better see how the game populates the design.

I have seen 'Tree Defenders' before, it was an agricultural station.

We never did figure it out, tho.
At least 'Tree Defender' is two REAL words !
And it even kinda makes sense, an agricultural station would have some trees, primarily fruit trees, that they grow, tend, and defend...........

Well, I don't think agricultural stations are really good at defending, given that they have to go and hire you to defend them against pirate raids.

Considering its a commonwealth station, and the commonwealth also has Earth and Incandescent... - two entire planets on which agriculture seems to be flourishing... I doubt apple trees are going to be extinct any time soon.

Except that the Commonwealth was formed by the people who realized they had little in common with the humans on Earth. So, wouldn't Earth still be separated between the other Earth-based factions?

Reading the timeline it does seem to suggest that Earth was not included in the Commonwealth, depending on how you read it.

Well, in the timeline the people who were living in stations in orbit of Earth left Earth to form the Commonwealth. They formed their capital in St. Kats. Syrtians invade, and it says that the syrtians were only defeated when the commonwealth helped Earth. It talks about them as though they are different (though allied) political entities. There really hasn't been any reason for Earth to become part of the Commonwealth since then, so I consider Earth to still be ruled by multiple nations on Earth, like the United African States (which made the zulu and other ships)

We do know that after the annihilation of the Earth fleet, and the subsequent bombings, the Commonwealth completely took over the fight against the Ares. This, and the fact that no Earth ships are battling the Ares along with the Commonwealth military, suggests to me that Earth is either a direct member of the Commonwealth, or has no space fleets of its own- at which point it would make sense for them to join the Commonwealth for military protection, anyway.

This is just my take on the issue, though. I'd love to hear Word of George on this.

I think that Earth's Fleet should be at least partially rebuilt by the time That the "UberPilgrim" leaves Eridani; After all, Earth is a planet containing many resources, and the leaders of the (Earth's Coalition?) would be able to rile considerable hard feelings towards the Ares, enough to Gain public support of such a fleet.

Perhaps A sidequest of future game versions would be carrying messages between The St.K's Parliment and the Coalition Fleet in the Sol System? A good Idea, In my opinon. Travelling to Sol in some form would be so awesome.
