What happens next?

I've finished the Iocrym ship and recovered a rod. What do i do next? is that the end? The gate doesnt open and there's nothing else left to do.
During the 100+ times i've played the game i mostly sold off all useless stuff and weapons, spent most of all my money on buying Hyperion-capable fuel rods and He3 reactor assemblies (for later) and then used the iocrym fracture cannon to destroy everything in human space ( including CSCs hotels etc... killing a BM station calls in bounty hunters but they're harmless against my +1000hp- shields and lightning turrents. i kill off all the ares huari commonwealth -everything and finally return home to destry everything in Erdani and at last go to sleep in a nice jailcell in starlton eridani.

Go to the heretic gate. Dock with it. And it should say something like 'what do you want to use'. Select the rod and off you go. Once you entered the gate. The game is finished.

Nah, it's A Yacht Called Sapphire - he's the only one to have beaten my phobos killing record, with a total score of FOURTEEN MILLION and OVER FIVE HUNDRED phoboses killed.

I still think you need to write a guide to ares camping and killing phobos dreadnoughts sometime. I'm sure it'd be a great read.

@ Wolfy: you have not fought MY Phobos ( carriers ) they are tabled: light for low tech pilots but If your a hard fighter the game will spawn the tables....see if they don't get your little ship and your microsaur too !

yes: an IM90 : but my carriers are ready for that: while they do not reflect Ion ( because regular Ares , like Sung do not reflect or defend well against their own weapons ) my carriers are CARRIERS: i think they can still give you a challenge:)http://xelerus.de/index.php?s=mod&id=919
