This isn't permadeath, and so death is allowed, even welcome, if it means more people will take turns.
We'll be doing The Network, so brace yourselves!
Same basic rules apply:
-Each Player will take a turn, which will consist of:
-one system. Each player is responsible for cleaning out the system as much as they can (or leave stations alive for some loot grinding)
-can buy one PSD ship (but take care of it, and don't lose other people's ships!)
* if you don't want to lose somebody else's ship I recommend leaving it near an allied station and to mark it on Captain's Log. The only thing is parallax means there's no sitting on anything anymore, so PLEASE be careful with other people's ships.
-the Freighter is everybody's ship, so if you lose your personal PSD ship you'll have to use the freighter. (I'll try to get to Rigel so I can buy myself an Agauptera >.>)
-post before you take a turn, and you have six (6) hours to complete it before someone else can take a turn in your stead.
-Name the save file as:
Succession2-TurnX[PlayerNameHere]
*Example: Succession2-Turn1[RPC]
-upload the .sav file to this thread and tell us any major events, like losing a ship.
I think that's all for now. Since more people will play we could have more people play per day, but please adhere to the rules and have fun!
Some things to note:
I included Gravity so that all the loot goes to the star. This is great for saving time, but not when there are Salvagers or Gaians. If anybody is going to buy a freighter I suggest going to the settings.xml of gravity (Extensions/DySys Cuts/Gravity/GravitySettings.xml)to turn it off if they don't like it.
I merged Planet Parallax with Parallax Worlds, so Digdug's awesome biosphere planets don't show up as often, but only when a biosphere planet is present.
Sometimes Transcendence crashes without actually counting as a death on startup, just restart and it'll work. For some reason it doesn't count as a death though.
My Turn:
Currently I started in the freighter. Lots of loot, and you can read Captain's Log for some details.
Not much, although I do recommend having somebody check out the Thunderbird in the dry dock. Looks like it has 3 weapon mounts o.O
I've left the dry dock unused for the next player.
Neuromancer: if you're reading this buy the Wolfen and get to St. Kats!
If there's a mod I left out or it's outdated tell me so that we can fix it before we get too invested in this save.
