Indie Telegraph looks like a brand new blog (no Alexa ranking yet), but I'm still delighted that they chose to review Transcendence. Every little bit of press helps!

They didn't even make their own screenies? (I'm not familiar with standards in these reviews but that fact kinda irked me :S )

That is actually very common in small-scale reviews. An indie game like Transcendence doesn't usually rate a lot of reviewer time compared to, for example, Call of Duty. The audience is just a whole different scale. My job as a PR person is to make sure they have as much reusable material (like screenshots).

Nice write up.

Two things grab my attention: first, the reviewer does not know you made other games. This leads me to believe that the forums, main website (kronosaur), and the sites for the individual games could do with a tighter integration.

And second: there is not mention of the wide selection of mods, and the good support to for modding. Since the community around Transcendence lives around the forums, once again I think that a tighter integration of the forums and the product site would benefit the game. (Not just from the Transcendence website to the forum, but also from the forum back into the website).

Anyhow, nice to see a positive review.

Well, George's other games are either very old (S:I, Anacreon R 4021, Lander) or in early development.

Very nice :)

If I had read this interview without knowing the game from before, I would have tried it out at once.
