Will they achieve 0.1C in-game? Dual-speed-mode AI?

Complement: 80+ gunships
Amazing, my estimate was right on!

That aside, the new model looks excellent. The indentations on the deck seem to indicate that the old setup of gunships resting atop it has been altered.

Looking nice. I assume the CSC Europa wreck is getting shined up to match?

It still has that suspiciously smooth rounded, truncated, hexagonal cone underneath.

Is the yellow rectangle in the bottom right image an internal flight deck?

That's just the handsome collector's display stand that comes ABSOLUTELY FREE with CSC purchase for only 12 easy payments of just 9.99 billion credits.

If I recall, the Europa wreck is just a dead CSC with a custom name and docking interface. Thus, the changed graphics would automatically affect it.

Nope. It's a custom graphic. Europa has extra damage added in that the usual "I'm dead" overlay can't manage. It's in rsStationsPointJuno.

Ah, nice catch. I've been lucky enough to almost never have seen a dead CSC.

The one that did die was the America, which was worn down by endless luminous patrols before repair teams were added.

See, back in the 0.99c and early 1.0 modding/screwing around community we saw a lot of them, because you could chain-detonate them. Always good fun, if the game didn't crash.

It still happens even under normal gameplay, when someone flees to the CSC hoping to be saved from the phobos in the 'unknown hostile' mission.

Ah, yes, those. Hopefully the new facings will make them less of a pushover by eliminating the howitzer trick.

Say, does anyone remember when the Centurions stopped appearing on dockscreens and sprites? I remember seeing them way back when, but not anymore.
