You guys think we could get one? I don't have the extra computer for a dedicated one, but it might be a bit more convenient in some way than the irc.

Maybe we should look into free options before moving to a dedicated Teamspeak.
BTW: Do you mean Mumble, or can you just host a teamspeak?

Mumble, Teamspeak, whatever. I'm sure someone somewhere would be interested in hosting something like that.

Would it get used? We had a Mumble server, but nobody ever used it.
However that being said, TeamSpeak, Mumble, etc, have you tried mobile clients for IRC?
They even do push notifications?

I'm not really sure what we'd use it for. Is there a significant portion of forum users that play the same multiplayer game? We've got IRC for general chatting, which works well enough, and George seems to have figured out a way to use it while playing Transcendence.

I would assume windowed mode. A dual monitor is also possible.

Maybe a phone/tablet? Pretty sure IRC works on tablets.

I have three displays on my main machine, I think it's trivial to have a main display plus a side display for IRC.
