Someone I know is trying to sign up for an account on the forum so he can get a UNID prefix registered.
Unfortunately, he chose a rather spammy username, 'hey999'.
He's unable to log on, and it may be because his username made people think he is a bot. Does he need to re-register?

Nope. I just got a little behind with activations, sorry. Generally it's quicker with less suspicious usernames, but this time it was just me not checking my emails.
I've activated the account now, so all should be well.
(Generally speaking my rule of thumb is that I'll be a little suspicious if the username and email address look off to me, but I won't flat-out not activate something unless it's someone spamming multiple user accounts. This does sometimes let bots through, but reporting bots will get them banned [by myself or another moderator/admin])

Mischievous local moderator. She/Her pronouns.
