I have noticed some peculiarities in my last few playthroughs, the most recent being somewhat critical. THERE WERE NO TERATONS! I even went all the way back to St. Katherines and loaded a hacked mapping rom which will find anything to double check. There was one single ventari outpost in a void location that I hadn't found but absolutely no teratons. This made obtaining rins from the one ringer collective and shipyard extremely time consuming and boring.
On the other hand, in Groombridge, the second system, there were 6 armor dealers! I saved up every cred and bought 4 worldship plates from them, making me invincible until the ares and luminous started showing up almost 20 systems later!
