I originally thought it was a problem w/ godmod.

Have you managed to reproduce it?
I found it happens only some games :/

I have had it a few times, all while having mods, but with mods that don't overwrite anything, and the first time with a stock ship.
I don't know why it happens, and can't reproduce it, but it does happen more than once.

Tut tut, very bad internet skills. Rule number 1 (maybe not) of internet usernames - NEVER use the same user name or the same password for different, unrelated accounts.

Me for example, I'm ThePrivateer on here, the wiki and on Xelerus, but I'm known as BAugustus on two other (admittedly unrelated forums, but with different login details) and KingAuggie on the Dwarf Fortress wiki (am yet to sign up for Dwarf Fortress forums).

Its much simpler to use the same logins. For example, I have lost count of the number of sites I have registered for. Yet, if I ever remember one and feel the desire to use them again, I don't have to search five years of memory for the login.

For forums and other sites like forums I think using the same username is a good idea because it lets other recognize you. But using the same password is not a good idea. For things that are supposedly "secure" (like online banking) using a username and password that both appear like a random string of characters and using a different pair for every site is the best practice. I write the username and password on the file I keep for each account in my locked filing cabinet. >.>

I have had this happen to me too. I think it happens if you try and dock with something, but are killed before you reach it, or are killed while on a dockscreen. Once you respawn, no dockscreens work, and you have to restart transcendence.exe to get them working.

I hate getting killed while in Dockscreens. I know it's kinda irrelevant to the thread, but it really irks me. I wish the game would pause or something, or make the ship protected, as if you had gone inside a forcfield, or a secure parking lot or something. ;)
