For example, player can install three laser collimators and receive +225% damage to all laser weapons.

The ability for enhancers to be capable of stacking is intended for modding purposes. I Dont believe the vanilla ones are intended to stack, or are meant to stack within certain caps.

What is the point of the "type=" field? If it is to prevent multiple copies of an enhancer from stacking with themselves (e.g., laser collimator), it fails.

That is its purpose, but it's clearly busted. Thanks for finding that.
[This is all caused by me adding a max enhancement value--the code turned out to be much more complicated than I expected.]
