I confirmed the issues with firing QTorps, if you are just floating and fire one, you might get a reactor overload warning, but if you are accelerating or recharging shields and fire one it turns off the phaser. The torps are being launched very off-center and have an initial launch vector about 15 degrees clock-wise of the ship's forward.
It's a very powerful ship. I played a few rounds in BZ with it with the multiplier cranked up to 20. I fought 800 some-odd 1-3 level ships and won, they never even dropped my shields below 50%. When I have the time I'll see if I can make it to the BZ capital ship levels.
The Enterprise-E is the closest thing to a capital ship that StarFleet has ever built, it really should be that big
As for the merger, well, first I do want to get my Defiant ship up to Ver 1, and it looks like the SF weapons still need some tweaking...

ooh...
turns out that transcendence only support black & white alpha, there's no transparency (gray alpha/mask) so that i cant create the exhaust looks cool.
but i know the solution... its hard to explain, but basically i will create the transparency IN photoshop so that when transcendence layer it with the NCC, it already have transparent warp engine under it (i can hardly explain that)
but the downside is that it will cost me lot of time, and maybe updating that this week seems to be impossible.
