Sorry for cluttering your xelerus.de page with bug reports, I didn't have a working transcendence forum account until recently.

I love this ship, can't wait to see what it looks like when it's finished.

This is my first mod I'm trying, so I want it to be working all the way done stuff :P

Running into an error though, I downloaded DSF etc. but I keep running into this error:
Unknown function: hshSet ### (dsf_SetScreenData "unmodified" screenData) ###

You're missing alterecco's hash functions too; DSF requires those to run.

Mind if I say something on balance?
FAR to easy to upgrade your... well... anything feedable. I have all upgrades possible except 'distance-based' ones (System level based, whatever) and I'm at St. K's.

Armor can take anything, even damaged stuff... intended? Same for weapons.

And a few items are named (With Parenthesis), so it looks a little strange...
And I don't know how easy it is to code, but feeding items one-at-a-time is a little irksome.

And instead of a dialog when something upgrades (I haven't seen an upgrade dialog for any of the later levelups for the drive and armor repair), maybe in the upgrade screen have a little blurb that it's grown?

I propose that maybe limit what each organ can intake (except drive, that's obvious and fine) to non-damaged, or just certain item types... Or require a crapton more stuff to level up your repair/weapons/drive.

And the generic damage on the Acid... apparently has WMDInsane when at 150%...

I think it's probably a better idea to have the ship's organs only be able to accept a certain amount of food at a time, so you have to wait for it to digest it all.

Most of that stuff is the way it is simply since I havn't had the time to limit what they can take; I was just trying to get it all working and all the content in, and then balance it afterwards.

Just pulled this down from Xelerus. It's a brilliant concept, and I'd like to thank you for putting it out there. :D
I've read that you don't have this finished to the level that you'd like (ability to actually grow from the smaller ship to the larger, etc). I know you've got tons of Transcendence projects in the works, but do you plan to finish this one eventually?

Actually I plan on working on the wyvera ships some more soon. With the ability to change ships, This will make is considerably more advanced, being able to choose to grow along a path that you choose; there are likely going to be a lot of ship variations & paths available in the final version.

There will actually be 3 versions of this mod:
1) the playership version, gameplay is otherwise unaffected
2) the adv. extension version - this one is waiting on some new stuff from george & I'd have a good amount of balance work to do on it before it would be playable
3) the TSB version - more information will be presented on this later in TSB

Stay tuned for a revised version that nolonger needs the outdated version of DSF and should be compatable with new versions of transcendence. It will contain no new content, but the ships will be re-rendered with transparency support, so you don't have annoying ugly black borders.

Very cool 8-) I'm most interested in the playership version, though I've seen enough of your posts regarding TSB to be more than a bit curious about it. If I ever finish a game of regular Transcendence, TSB sounds like it will really be interesting. :D

I was messing around with the G.O. Device and spawned an enemy elder wyvera...KILLER!!!!! That finished version didn't exactly spawn a child so i am guessing this is still in the works?
New things interest me.
